April 2013 Post-Op Group
Well I finally had my first (and second) bout with vomiting. The first time was food I had been eating for about a week, but for whatever reason it decided to come up. And tonight I tried some fish and that didn't sit very well either. it happened really fast and I didn't have any other symptoms. Makes me very leery to try new foods. I've mostly been sticking with yogurt, scrambled eggs, tofu and protein shakes. I'm about 3 months out from surgery. I've lost 31 lbs since then and I'm finally in Onederland.

I would probably pack a little cooler with protein shakes for the car ride.- April 2013 Post-Op Group
I really struggle with this one! I usually end up drinking a little with my meals.- April 2013 Post-Op Group
I have felt zero nausea nor have I thrown up or dumped. I am almost 2 months out. I do not eat any processed carbs. I ate some chicken once and kept burping and thought I would throw up, but it went down eventually. My doc says this means I am just not ready yet for that kind of food so I went back to puréed and very soft foods. I eat protein shakes, Greek yogurt and scrambled eggs right now. I might try some fish this weekend to see if it sits better now. I don't remember what percentages Dr said end up dumping.... I'm just glad I haven't had it happen yet.- April 2013 Post-Op Group

Scrambled egg beaters with a spoonful of salsa and a pinch of cheddar cheese mixed in. A bit of avocado on the side. Fast and easy!- April 2013 Post-Op Group
Way to go! You made it to Twoterville! I'm obsessed with the scale and I weigh myself multiple times a day :/- What ya eating tonight?
4oz of tofu has about 100 calories and 10g of protein. - April 2013 Post-Op Group
