  1. Well I finally had my first (and second) bout with vomiting. The first time was food I had been eating for about a week, but for whatever reason it decided to come up. And tonight I tried some fish and that didn't sit very well either. it happened really fast and I didn't have any other symptoms. Makes me very leery to try new foods. I've mostly been sticking with yogurt, scrambled eggs, tofu and protein shakes. I'm about 3 months out from surgery. I've lost 31 lbs since then and I'm finally in Onederland.
  2. I got Giada DeLaurentis' vegetable marinade at Target. 8 carbs, 3 g of fiber per serving
  3. I bought them frozen at my local HEB supermarket. They are store brand.
  4. Four small turkey meatballs with marinara sauce and half a slice of provolone cheese melted on top.
  5. Looking Good, LB! Wow three miles a day is awesome!!
  6. You look fantastic Krystal!
  7. I would probably pack a little cooler with protein shakes for the car ride.
  8. I really struggle with this one! I usually end up drinking a little with my meals.
  9. I have felt zero nausea nor have I thrown up or dumped. I am almost 2 months out. I do not eat any processed carbs. I ate some chicken once and kept burping and thought I would throw up, but it went down eventually. My doc says this means I am just not ready yet for that kind of food so I went back to puréed and very soft foods. I eat protein shakes, Greek yogurt and scrambled eggs right now. I might try some fish this weekend to see if it sits better now. I don't remember what percentages Dr said end up dumping.... I'm just glad I haven't had it happen yet.
  10. Way to go Vanna!! I'm sorry so many of you are having problems now. Best wishes to everyone who's struggling.
  11. Scrambled egg beaters with a spoonful of salsa and a pinch of cheddar cheese mixed in. A bit of avocado on the side. Fast and easy!
  12. Way to go! You made it to Twoterville! I'm obsessed with the scale and I weigh myself multiple times a day :/
  13. 4oz of tofu has about 100 calories and 10g of protein.
  14. Yep! I added some fresh ginger tonight. Tastes like whatever you put on it. It doesn't have much flavor of its own.
  15. Krystal, you're shrinking!!!
  16. OMG I had one sample of the lemon and it was like dessert--soooo good! And I can't find them anywhere, just the chocolate ones
  17. 2 oz of tofu, a mushroom and a handful of spinach sautéed in a tsp of sunflower oil with garlic, ginger and soy sauce. 1/4 of an avocado, which I ate about half of. my pouch likes tofu!
  18. Yay! I hate those stalls!
  19. Yep! I use em and my urine has been neon yellow since.
  20. Grilled tilapia (Gorton's) and about a tablespoon of sautéed spinach. The fish is sitting in my pouch like a rock--same as chicken. I might have to stick with eggs and refried beans and yogurt for a while yet!
  21. Trying some eggs (egg beaters) for the first time since surgery scrambled with some fresh salsa and a tiny bit of sautéed spinach. fingers crossed it sits well in the pouch!
