  1. Pebulz I started losing about three months before surgery and I didn't see any difference for a loooong time. I'm down a total of about 45 lbs from December. I would say I couldn't tell a difference in my clothes till about 35 pounds were gone. Don't worry, it will happen for you too!! Try to be patient
  2. Good job Krystal! I can really see it in your tummy!

  4. Me two weeks ago and today So even though it feels like I am losing super slow, at least I can see a difference in my tummy.
  5. I always have a bottle of water in my hand! I have about 10 different crystal light flavors and I am sick to death of all of them. All I want now is plain, super cold water. Nope I stopped sometime in week 2 Awww...that is pretty strict! You will get through it!
  6. Just ate 2.5 oz tuna and it's sitting in my pouch like a brick. Maybe I didn't chew it enough? Yuck.
  7. The hardest thing for me is that I never have that full, satisfied feeling that I used to get when eating. I never feel hungry but I also never feel full. I'm almost a month out.
  8. Way to go!! you're looking Fab!!

  10. Hey guys! yes, I'm still here, just lurking... haven't had much to report. No pain, no dumping, no vomiting. I've been on puréed foods for almost a week now. It is nice to have a little more variety, but I have to say I don't enjoy eating like I used to. I never really feel that full, satisfied feeling. I just stop when I've had a half cup cause I know I'm supposed to. I guess I'm probably still mourning the loss of food. I'm also back to work for the second week now and no probs there except it can make it difficult to get my liquids in. I'm down to 215 lbs from my surgery day weight of 229. I can almost get into a size 20 pants, but I don't really feel like I look much better yet.

  14. Looks to me like you're allergic to the staples. I think you'll be okay if you wait to see the doc on Monday--hopefully he will take them out then.
