  15. Here we go! Today is my 1 year anniversary! I was so excited to have my first sips of wine. I tried to be cautious and only had a little, and it was wonderful! Congratulations to us, April Crew! We continue to make our way. I would not have been able to get through this without your posts, especially Dorian, Alanna, Krystal and others. You guys really kept us together. Love you all!! I am going to try to attach a before/after pic, we'll see how it goes! LOL
  16. Hey everyone! I'm on Spring break this week, just working on alot of stuff. Happy Anniversary to those in the beginning of the month! I hope you are all doing well. I'm at the same weight for about a week, now, trying to be steady and not gain. I never had a goal weight, my doctor did. I'm still having issues with body image and all the changes, but still NO REGRETS!!! I will deal with it. I spoke to my brother yesterday(he's an army sergeant) and we talked about who I was dating! We've never talked about that before. He says he is really proud of me, and I told him to find me one of those Army Buddies, he trusts to date his sister!!! Looking forward to hearing about everyone's results for their annual visit. Mine will be later in the month! Good luck to everyone, it's been an amazing year!! I love you guys!

  18. Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I've been trying to keep up, it's just this school year, of all the years I've been teaching, has been the craziest. With the weather, the paperwork and the low pay - no raise for 5 yrs- I'm working more at my part time jobs and it doesn't leave me much time for anything or anyone else. Just wanted to check in and say hello, and it's almost our "surgerversary" month!! Exciting!!!

  20. I just downloaded a coupon for it, I thought that was great!
  21. One of my favorite places!
  22. Great job Dori! Things will get better for us, this is a strong group! We are having tons of fun and loving every minute of it! I pray that everything works out for you.

  26. Snowed in again! I'm making a pot of chili. Did oven fried chicken last night, but only ate a little with some steamed broccoli. Cannot stay in, I'm gonna go crazy! I'm used to being out and about, running around. Last nite, my body shut down and I slept for almost 10 hours! Up today, decided to clean out the kitchen cabinets. Round 2 of the snowstorm just started, so looks like we're in for a couple more days! I guess I'll prepare my tax stuff.
  27. Dori, you look amazing, girl!
  28. I started with the tuna first, if you're ready. Other than that, soups are always good and filling. I had a complete list week by week. Did you get something like that? It helped a lot when trying to plan for meals.

  31. Well since we don't build snow days into our school calendar, we have to make them up. So, back to school tomorrow, and the kids have been out for 4 days....it will be trying!
  32. Okay, I'll look around. I have seen the granola in the grocery store, I just didn't think about adding it to yogurt!
  33. Hey Dori, where did you find the chip? I crave crunchy foods, but the carbs are soooo high!
  34. I think we take the vitamins forever right?! I still take b12 once a week and all of the others as well. I have been making chili every other week. We love it and since my son had the sleeve and i had the bypass, it is a good high protein meal we can both eat well. Where r u that you are snowed in with 2-3 inches?? LOL. Here in WI we brush that off with a broom! I'm in North Carolina, you know, the state that has everything: mountains, beaches, city and country life! A few inches of snow in the wrong parts of the state will shut down everything! We are not prepared for it, we don't have the equipment or resources. We have missed 2 days of school so far, and will miss again tomorrow until they clear all roads. I know, too funny! Where are you in NC. I'm in Concord. I'm ready for the weather to break so I can get outside again. I don't do well in the cold. I'm in Raleigh. I've gone outside, had to go to Rite Aid to pick up a prescription. The main roads are fine, its the secondary roads that will keep the students out of school tomorrow. I still have to go in! Be safe, you guys got more snow than we did, I'm sure.
