Only hours away before my surgery and I literally have no words to explain my feelings. Im blessed to have a chance to change my life 100% and I know it won't be an easy road but I know that in life everything that's worth don't come on a silver platter. Good luck to everybody that's having surgery today as well, u will be in my prayers and I will keep you guys posted after surgery. Love u all. Feb 4th rocks. :)

Thanks so much. I hope I have a speedy recovery as well mostly cause of my 2 year old daughter who's supper attached to me and loves to be on top of me all time. That's my main concern how to keep her off me but thanks God ill have the help of my mom who will be there to carry her all the time till I get better.i just hope that will be enough cause I don't want my daughter to feel rejected. :(

Thxs. I'm already on the recovery room since 4pm, everything went well thanks God and thank to the wonderful Dr I had. It's not that bad yet just feeling bolted and a little pain, hope it don't get that painful. :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
