Anyone else have days when they are exhausted?

Recommended Posts

I'm ten weeks post op and for the most part I feel great but I have days where I am just wiped out. I feel like I did post op. It's so weird. I am thinking it is the fewer calories catching up with me? I recently did two back to back work trips and I was exhausted.

I think you are still healing from major surgery. You are only 2 months out right? Body is still dealing with a lot of crap. Give your self a break and a chance to be human. We are not superwomen much as we would like to think that we are....There are still some days where I feel tired. We eat so little and do so much trying to get this weight off that I think sometimes we burn the candle at both ends.

Kristy, I think you are right. I forget how major this surgery is plus I had complications and another surgery. To that point, my skin still is sensitive where the incisions were.

I felt that way this morning so I feel your pain. It was to the point where my eyes closed during a presentation. Ugh, need to find a way to give ourselves a little boost. :-) (3 weeks postop)

I can only imagine with the traveling, how tiring it must be! Traveling without having major surgery is tiring! I was a Flight Attendant, so I know! I'm almost 4 weeks and I haven't gone back to work yet. I have more energy than the weeks before, but not ready to be on my feet 10hours a day. I'm sure it will come in time. Dreading next Monday...wha.... :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
