So no one judge, but I've been eating like horribly lately, chips, sweets, and even fried foods. I don't get dumping. Making bad decisions, I'm going back to my old ways. Big sigh!! Any suggestions??

Ugh, I must admit I am heading there too! I've eaten bread (all started with half a bread at thanksgiving) I don't dump and it doesn't help me on track! Today I ate a bite of bday cake at work BIG FAIL I left like a loser! And I ate one bite of a cheese quesadilla :(

Please don't judge I need advise to get back on track! It all started with a half a bread and since then I have been pushing the limits :'(

we are all human and since this is something you just started doing it shouldn't be too hard to get back on track. it is hard when there are so many temptations out there but look what you went through to lose weight to start with!

its ok ladies. noone said it would be easy. you will still be losing, just at a slower rate. try to remember why you chose to do this, what hoops you went through, and what it really means to you. We're in this together, no judging, just support. I just had my first post op meal - chicken stock and yogurt... I know I'm not hungry but I am craving a cheese scone damnit!

Tomorrow is a new day think about why u wanted to loose weight in the first place and pull those old pics out of u when u was heavier and think do I want to go back to that but everyone falls off the wagon just get your self back on it again cause no one is perfect but god. And having those foods once and a while is not bad just as long as u know u portioned it out it won't make u gain but it will make your weight stall hope u are well. Ttyl

The best motivation is looking at your starting out picture - the day of your surgery. It is the motivation u need to not turn back and keep moving forward.

I know just what you mean...I'm in the same boat. I don't dump unless I eat to fast, in that case the food gets stuck and it comes up I order for me to feel better. I can eat just about anything I want and I'm less that two months out. I don't go crazy if its something that I want I may have one bite and I'm done with it. I don't eat a whole bag if chips or even a whole cookie. I will take one bite of something that I have a taste of and that is enough to satisfy me. Until I had my cycle... I ate too many cheese it crackers, they put me at a stall so I had to give them to my children. I do work out every day which keeps my wanting more fuel for my body. Remembering to make good choices and planing meals and Snacks in advance it what keeps me doing what I need to do. I love WLS and do happy that I have this tool because with out it, baby I would have eaten everything in site. :-)

Rem all one bit of cake or bread is not the end of the world. That's being human. Part of this process is to learn to new habits. Our old habits were one or two pieces of cake and no exercise. If the bit help with a craving. It's ok as long as it is not a habit. Move on and don't beat yourself up. :-)

I couldn't have said it better myself. The ultimate goal is to adopt a healthier attitude towards food and adopt a healthier lifestyle. No one is perfect...and eventually you will be allowed to eat what you wanna eat so the this year should be spent creating new healthy habits...not beating ourselves up for being human. We should use our tool to our advantage as well as maintaining a positive mental attitude

I want to thank everyone for all you said. I mean I don't eat whole bags of chips but I do eat some here and there. I felt like a failure for eating it but it was good!!! Lol. I'm cleaning out my bad habits today and starting over to what I should be doing. In 4 1/2 months I've lost 93 pounds. I believe that's pretty good. Unfortunately I can eat anything I want!! Which is bad because it tempts me all the time. I think above anything I'm afraid of stretching my pouch. Big sigh, just praying I can get ahold of myself!!

Agreed. The teeny amount we can eat wont hurt you too badly. Just eat very healthy 99 percent and the other 1 percent will be fine. Dont beat yourself up

After going slightly off track for a few days, I set my goal weight for Christmas, decided on eliminating all carbs from my diet. I put these in front of my desk to keep me motivated & on track. When I crave anything badly, one bite is all I take.

Take it easy on yourself & set your next goal. Log everything & check it out daily to monitor yourself.

hugs & good luck

Hello:) I was doing great & decided not the 1st time to eat a slice of pizza & oh boy. I was in so much pain & was throwing up. I love pizza but I will never have s slice again. Since I get chocolate cravings I always have chocolate kisses around so I eat limit 4 pieces but I must stop & go back to my sugar free Russell which taste delicious & not Hugh in calories. When I feel dry I have just bought it from BJ's(just became 60 day free membership) sugar free crystal light candy 25 calories for 4 pieces had one taste delicious. In other words we have healthier choice when it comes to picking out food.

I still got a bunch of stuff to buy. I want to stay a size 4 and get down to size 2 and 110lbs. I don't want to fail.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
