Hello,

So it finally happened I'm 6 months post-op and I had lost 100lbs it's unbelievable!! I'm so proud of myself!!! And there's more to come! I'm starting to think about cosmetic sx (I know is early) but I'm just too excited about it!

Initial wt 270lbs

CW 170lbs

Goal is 140lbs

Height 5'6"

Congrats! You look great. Which one are u in the picture? I can't even tell, that is how different u look!

surgeversary 7/24/12, highest weight 267, surgery weight 262, current weight 210

WOW - you look awesome !!! I am 6 months post op as well and feel fantastic. I have only lost 41 lbs so far :( The past month or so I have been in a major slump. Starting weight 214 current 173, starting BMI 37 current BMI 29. You are doing FANTASTIC !!!! keep up the good work, I just hope I get out of my slump because I did not go thru surgery to only loose 41 lbs. !!!!

Congratulations. You did a great job! As soon as I started losing weight I thought of plastic surgery my self boob lift & Tummy Tuck & arm lift.

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
