So how is everyone doing that had their surgeries last month? I am I month in two days and doing ok. My biggest issue is not being able to tolerate room temp Water, but I'm figuring that out with ice chips, shaved ice and frozen water water bottles. I've lost 24 pounds since surgery so far. Was hoping for 30 but I'm not complaining! I am still not dropping sizes like I expected either - that frustrates me more. Was size 24 and now I can wear some size 22 tops and rare bottoms. That's after an over 35 pound loss total - go figure!

I'm thankful that I made it through month 1 and I'm not dealing with the pain. I've had my dumping experience, and vomiting foamies.

Now I'm worried about lack of Water, calories and Protein. Why is it we can only drink Water with lots of I've?? Is there a Protein Bar that can help instead of a shake that isn't covered in chocolate? What about nuts? Scramble eggs with turkey bacon? I'm ready to add something else beside oatmeal and cottage cheese. Or at least another Protein.< /p>

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
