What Protein Shakes Do You Use?

Hello everyone, What brands and flavors of protein shakes do you use and like? I know we all have different tastes but, it would be interesting to know the brands that are most popular. Where did you purchase them?

Haven't had my surgery yet.... Hoping first or 2nd week of July...

Anyway I talked to the nutritionist today and asked her about the protein.

She told me I had to get in 75g a day after surgery... She said the soy isolate protein ( has no taste) was great. She also told me I did not have to drink protein shakes forever... Only the weeks I'm on liquid' date=' purée diet. She said they would much rather you get your protein from food. But some will not push themselves to eat so that's why they rather use the shakes. :)[/quote']

Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I hear a lot of good things about injury chicken soup. I'm 8months out n still have a hard time eating n still drink at least 2 shakes a day that's why I stay with Isopure vanilla. Zero carb in make sure I'm not over my carb or fat in take. My two shakes alone put me at 100 grams of protein.

Have any of you tried the protein to go smoothies. They are like little shots. There is a really good groupon right now for them! I was hoping they would be a good option for us. They have 28g of sugar.

28 grams of sugar! No way am i drinking those!

I use Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein from Walmart. I mix it with skim milk to get a total of 34 grams of protein per 8 oz. I tried the Chocolate and burned out on it real quick. Vanilla is the best. My nut said it was a good choice....so glad, cause it's cheap too :) I mix it up and just keep it in the fridge and just take sips of it through out the day.

Noooo! I meant 28g of protein!! There are 5g of sugar!! There is no way I'd drink them in they had 28g of sugar!!

Lol good to know

Wondering...my protein shots are whey isolate..I'm going to check with my nut. Can't really stomach the powders and I'm so liquid loaded that when I do shakes I don't eat. Hoping they're a viable alternative.

I use Body Fortress too

I can't tolerate whey... Jus the smell makes me woosy. But the Soy protein doesn't have a smell or a taste. It's awesome! :)

I'm loving the unflavored unjury with icy cold vitamin water....I mix and put in freezers until foam disappears then fill to the top with diet v8 splash!

Hi Deaddemmama, where do you get that protein at? I'd like to try that. I'm sick of the powder and need something new! Thank you!
