Yes I'm waiting on approval for my plastics... hopefully my insurance will cover some of it... according to my drs... after the skin Removal I will probably be underweight. My surgery was 9/13/13 I weighed 265.... today I weigh 135... I've been very sick lately every1 keeps saying I look sick. I only eat about 3 or 4 bites at a time. Thts all I can hold. I don't think it has anything to do with my sleeve surgery I've had a few surgeries since...and something definitely messed me up. Slider foods are the foods tht we can eat more of tht we are not supposed to have. They contain no Protein no nutritional value... they basically just fill up our pouch Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using the BariatricPal App

They don't recommend lettuce... it's more of a filler... and it will fill you up alot quicker then you won't have room for your Protein... but every now and then may be ok slider foods are not a good habit to strt back on Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using the BariatricPal App

I can't tolerate whey... Jus the smell makes me woosy. But the Soy protein doesn't have a smell or a taste. It's awesome!

Haven't had my surgery yet.... Hoping first or 2nd week of July... Anyway I talked to the nutritionist today and asked her about the protein. She told me I had to get in 75g a day after surgery... She said the soy isolate protein ( has no taste) was great. She also told me I did not have to drink protein shakes forever... Only the weeks I'm on liquid, purée diet. She said they would much rather you get your protein from food. But some will not push themselves to eat so that's why they rather use the shakes.

I found a tasteless protein... It isn't whey tho.... It's 100% soy isolate... Seriously no taste. No smell... I love it. You can add it to anything.

There is Soy isolate Protein at GNC. It don't smell or taste... I put it in my iced tea... Taste nothing. You can even put it in your pancake mix, eggs, ect. Someone told me their surgeon wanted them to use Whey protein... But I guess everyone's different.

I would assume that it's ok with him... He told us there was tasteless protein when we asked. Hmmm I guess I need to ask him for sure when I meet him next

I jus found GNC Pro Performance... 100% Soy Isolate ... 1 scoop has 25 g of protein. It was awesome... No taste! I put it in my iced tea... You can't taste or smell anything!

I finally found the perfect protein. It has no taste at all. Found it at GNC. It's called 100% Soy Isolate. I put it in my Iced tea... No taste what so ever. You can add it in anything even your food as you cook! I luv it.... If you have a problem getting your protein... I def suggest this!
