I got my surgery done May 17th 2016... I have lost 42lbs so far. I stepped on the scale on Sunday and I was down to 183.1, so beyond excited to see that number. Today I stepped on scale (same time every day) and I am at 186.2. I haven't changed what I have been eating, going on walks daily! Why am I gaining, I feel like I should be losing. I am going to Mexico August 5th, and wanted to be down to 170. But I know that won't happen now! Anyone else have this happen. I also, get stuck at the same weight for a week, then drop a pound. I have one incision under my left boob, my surgeon said its the bigger incision due to taking out the stomach, and it's been the only pain I have had since surgery 7 days ago. Anyone else have horrible incision pain? I can barely sit up or pick up babies? ( I run a home daycare) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I have a question what does everyone eat 3 weeks post op? I can't stomach Protein shakes after surgery.. Tried about a handful, my surgeon/doc said I can start the purée stage. I had surgery on the 17th as well. I am having the most pain in my bigger incision spot. I can barely sit or walk without shooting pain. I am still taking my pain medication, it seems to help a little, but the pain is still there. Never had this pain in the hospital. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
