These pictures were taken 2 years and 2 weeks apart.

The first picture I was 3 months post op, 65 lbs down and feeling amazing.

The second picture I am 2 years 3 months post op, 142 lbs down and there are no words for how I am feeling now.

I am so glad I decided to begin theirs journey and take my life back!

I have finally opened my eyes to all the progress I have made. I was still seeing the 439 woman I use to be. I'm down to 266 currently. The second photo is my earlier months progress and the first photo was yesterday while I was out with my family.

How long did it take you to lose that much? Did you have bypass or sleeve?

I had bypass and it took less than 1 year. I still want to lose another 25 pounds but I'm slacking so I've been stalled for awhile. Its all my doing.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
