I live in Philadelphia. Surgery date is April 13th start my pre op diet 1 week before! Can't wait to start the beginning of a new life!

@@lovingme1 - Dr. Williams is the bomb.com! I had the easiest time of it with him. Walked into the OR, surgery went smoothly, no pain, gas, nausea or vomiting. Staff at UPenn was very nice and courteous. I also like that he starts you on colace and omeprazole in the hospital. As long as you take you meds and drink your Water, you should have issues with constipation or acid.

If you haven't already, join a gym or at least start walking 30+ minutes a day. It will make recovery that much easier.

Was sleeved March 18 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Dr. Boorse. I was very satisfied, surgery went well, very little pain, infact did not take any pain meds when I got home the next day or any days after. I have had no complications, the only issue I had was an allergic reaction to medical glue and something else used on the surgery site. Had a bad rash, very sensitive skin, I usually would take Prednisone to clear it up, but Dr.'s office did not advise using it at this point in time. Thankfully it is almost gone!

I'm in northeast Philly and getting my surgery at Abington Memorial Hospital and by Dr Bonani! I'm on day 3 of my 1 week pre op diet. 5 days away from surgery

I am just starting my 6 mnth supervised diet requirement for my insurance. I will having the surgery in Philadelphia. Did anyone see Dr. Kristoffel Dumon? meeting him for the first time in two weeks.

From Delaware county pa had my sleeve April 7th at Bryn Mawr Hospital

KatieLink how is everything going? I was done on the 13th at Abington Memorial Hospital

Hey I'm doing ok I started purée foods lastnight and had some mashed potatoes today I had some baby food , yogurt and mashed potatoes . Felt good to feel full!!! Still some pain in the one incision site. Tied a lot and trying my best to get my protein in . How r u feeling?

I found him wonderful. I followed all instructions and had no gas pains, vomiting, nausea, etc... I walked in recovery and so far I have shown a loss every time I get weighed. I honestly can't say anything but good things about my experience at UPenn. or with their program. I love that he prescribes omeprazole and colace from day 1. I haven't experienced any severe issues with constipation or acid.
