  1. I also was sleeved in December. I'm able to get in about 700 calories (sometimes less and sometimes a little more). My nutritionist wants me to increase to 1000 soon. HW 331 - SW (day of surgery) 303 - CW 236.
  2. The hospital billed by insurance for almost $79,000. They paid a portion to the hospital after the agreed upon amounts. I was only responsible for $200 copay.
  3. I was allowed to use Claritin for the itching. I was so bad!
  4. I use flatout bread and add sauce and low fat mozzarella
  5. I use a medication app to remember the times
  6. Same here. I was sleeved on 12/18. I lost 21 lbs the first week and half and only 1 lb the last only 3 weeks
  7. I was sleeved on 12/18. I had my first preop appointment on 12/29. I had lost 21 lbs from the day if surgery. From 12/29 to now I have only lost 1 lb. Is this normal? I started soft food but feel like I should still be loosing something. I'm getting frustrated.
  8. I know it's a long shot - I am looking for some kind of protein powder drink that actually taste like vanilla milkshake. Like a melted milkshake taste or as close as possible. Any recommendations?
  9. I haven't had a period in months. I am not consistent at all. And of course...my surgery is Friday and I started it today
  10. Possibly not want you want to hear...but I was in the hospital last week to have an ivc filter placed. The man in the bed next to me was scheduled to have the sleeve surgery. They actually were not able to do his surgery because there was too much scar tissue. They didn't know until they went in. They opened him up with one incision and put in a camera and stopped once they saw all the scar tissues.
  11. What hospital are you having your surgery at? I'm at HUP on December 18th
  12. I have heard that has happened. I was in the hospital yesterday getting the IVC filter placed and the person next to me in recovery was actually there for the sleeve and when they started it they had to cancel because of too much scar tissue from previous procedures
  13. My surgery is on the 18th so I also will be on the liquid diet.
  14. Congratulations Chelle Bean. My insurance actually emailed something to my Dr office
  15. Did anyone have to have an ivc filter placed? Getting the procedure done on Thursday. Wondering what to expect. I feel more nervous for this then getting the actual sleeve surgery which is scheduled for the 18th lol
  16. I'm starting tomorrow. My preop diet is 1000 calories, so I'm lucky not to have the all liquid died.
