My heart leaped out of my heart when I heard the word approval from the lady at BCBS Al. Now to wait for the approval letter to be sent to my MD's office and to me! Praying for a surgery by the end of the year! Best news EVER!

@@Chelle Bean--Congrats! I was hoping to be sleeved before the end of the year too but mine is scheduled for January 7th. Good Luck to you though for getting a December surgery!

Congrats I am having mine in Birmingham this Thursday the 10th. Can't wait and I know the joy of hearing approved! !

I got my approval last week as well. I am hoping to schedule by the end of December. I have my final appointment with the surgeon next week and that is when I get my surgery date. I hope all goes well for you.

It could take several days. When I found out I was approved I had my insurance CSR email me a copy so I could forward it to the dr office immediately.

Got my call today from my MD office, my pre op appointment is Friday at 9am ! I'm excited I will find out my surgery date then!
