I'm going through Dr Hamilton Le at Baptist. I had do do the 3 month weight management per my insurance. I go to my last appt sept 26th and then I submit to insurance. If all goes well I'm looking at an October surgery date but they won't give me a date till insurance approval.

So far so good! Oct 1st is coming quick & I can't wait! How's everyone doing?

I'm feeling like its dragging on some days and on others it seems the time is flying. Just hanging in and staying positive as I wait for December :)

Just stay upbeat and positive. It'll happen. It's all you can do right now, otherwise you'll drive yourself crazy. Lol

Congrats Sherry!! It'll be here before you know it. I went to my first nut appt and a physical therapy checkup. The nut put me on a diet similar to Atkins and the phys therapist wants me to use a spirometer three times a day to strengthen my lungs before surgery.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
