I skipped the purée stage because I couldn't stand the texture. Since I had never had any complications, no pain, vomiting or nausea, my nutritionist said I could go to the soft, really soft, stage. I ate lots of cream Soup, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, mashed potatoes, sugar-free pudding. I added unjury Protein powder to most things, and drank my Greek yogurt smoothies for my Protein.

Good luck on your journey. It's going to be amazing!

Today i cooked chicken in crockpot all day.. Then put a few pieces of it, a boiled egg, chicken broth, low fat mayo and seasoning in my magic bullet to make chicken sald paste. Yum :)

Buffalo Dip -- okay as long as you puree it if there are chunks of chicken in it

Chili -- okay if pureed

Taco Soup -- I'm not allowed soup, it's the same thing as drinking with your meals per my surgeon

tuna salad -- okay if pureed

Chicken salad -- okay if pureed

Ham salad -- okay if pureed

BBQ meat -- okay if pureed and fits in your daily carb allowance (my allowance is lower than some, BBQ Sauce tends to be high carb).

Other things I ate on puree stage: cottage cheese (by itself or mixed with a little sauce, dressing, or Peanut Butter or cashew butter), Greek yogurt (prepared same as with cottage cheese), refried Beans, Eggface's baked ricotta, poached eggs, pureed curry lentils, canned chicken pureed with low carb BBQ sauce or marinara sauce, shrimp pureed with Sriracha sauce or other spicy sauce.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
