Up and out today...although I can't remember a time in my life where I had so little energy. I did down an 8oz Protein shake this morning...which is good due to Fluid and 20oz of Protein. Hopefully that helps.

In underestimated recovery and am going to take another week off of work. Need proper time to recover.

Thanks for the support all.

Best of luck. It gets better. Don't be afraid to push a little more when you can.

Yep, I am 3 months out and fatigue and naps took longer than I'd thought. But it does get better (and I still like naps!)

I'm 6 days out and I know how you feel. I just have to have my fluids with me all the time and sip all the time. Yesterday was the closest I've gotten to getting all my Protein in. Hang in there, rest up and walk walk walk, plus those fluids.

I day 5 as well! I am so tired And getting fluids in is challenging. Good job on getting a Protein Shake in. I have yet to get a whole one down over the course of a day. Maybe today will be the day. I think one of the reasons I am so tired is because the sleep I am getting is crappy. The pain on my left side is still pretty bad and sleeping on my back is not ideal.

I hear you on the sleep. It's rough. sleep is the best surgery recovery tool but elusive.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
