I was sleeved 8/29. I can only get 50g (1.7 oz)of anything down. I'm not worrying too much about it right now. I'm trying to focus more on getting my fluids in. I'm finally getting 2 liters in each day. Protein varies. Some days I get 62g and other days 15. It's a work in progress for sure.

I start at 6:30 in the morning with 1/2 liter of water and usually finish by 8. I have something for Breakfast at 8:30 and then wait 30 minutes and start drinking again. It's like a full time job! I try to get in a 1/2 liter before each meal and before bed. It's not easy but the idea of dehydrating freaks me out.

I also have a hard time tolerating the Protein shakes..and most make me nauseous. Now (6 weeks out) I can have the Protein Bars, and can tolerate them, although it seems like I'm eating a candy bar. I still have a hard time getting the required 60 to 80 grams of Protein a day, all I can do is around 50. Any suggestions?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
