TOMORROW IS "MY" DAY!

Recommended Posts

I've been up since 6:30am and I'm super excited. I'm not nervous at all. I've waited a very long time for this day and I can't wait to sit on the LOOSERS BENCH!! Good luck to all that are being sleeved!! I'll be checking back monthly with updates!!

My surgery is in the morning too. I wish I could say I'm not nervous, but I am. But excited too! :) I wish you the best!

Congrats to all of you soon-to-be sleevers! I won't lie to you -- it will be pretty hard the first few days as you get rid of the gas, etc -- so use that pain pump like it's going out of style! After that, you'll feel better every day...I sure do! Time to take charge of your health and kudos to you for doing just that! Best wishes for a smooth surgery and recovery.

Im also counting down the hours. Since I live alone the night have been filled with all the last minute cleaning, cutting the yard, pulling weeds and decorating the house for fall. My dachshunds have their sitter all set up to come in the morning. They were not excited to see her today when she dropped her stuff. giggle.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
