I feel fabulous! I have had such an easy time. Only issue I have is reflux. I still have to take Prilosec. But so long as I do I'm all good.

I feel good about myself in ways I never did before. And some days I even feel sexy. (Yes we men feel that stuff too)

Wowsers!!! You really look amazing. You oughta go on over to the thread about how it feels to be attractive to the opposite sex ALL THE TIME!!!! They probably wanted the feminine point of view but a man's view point would be refreshing to hear.

Catching a stranger checking you out

I'm guessing that's a daily occurrence for you now! Great job and attitude!

You look GREAT, trim and athletic! Congratulations on your new life! I wish I didn't want to eat anymore and didn't care about food but, alas that doesn't seem to be the case for me. However I am somewhat less food-obsessed than I was pre-surgery. Not sure how much of it is psychological vs physical in my case. Anyway, I am trying to become an exercise junkie instead of a foodaholic! LOL!

pre-surgery weight 325; surgery date 2/28/2013; surgery weight 307; 8 weeks past-op weight 281.4; 12 weeks post-op 274; 4 month post-op 266.2; 5 month post-op 262.6; 6 month post-op 253.2

Dude, you should feel sexy every day. You definitely are. Love how you are muscular but not "bulgy" like someone one on steroids. Very proportionate muscle mass. Congratulations!

What an inspiration you are!

I'm just starting this journey - had my consult last week. Sucking the marrow? I'm all over that one - got a tattoo a couple weeks ago to remind myself. Guess I'm ready then, huh?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
