Went back to work today. 1 week out I think that may have been pushing it because exhausted and I'm suppose to go to night school tonight but I don't think that's happening.

I went back after one week, I work 7 on 7 off, nights. 5 eight our shifts, and my weekends are 12 hours shifts. My Dr. didnt let me do the 12's, but I did work 8 hours on that week-end. By tuesday, I was feeling like I was pushing it, so I did take that night off. I have had a GREAT recovery, and PRAY the same for you!!

Well I'm in the bed now. I won't be going to school tonight. I just can't handle all the walking and activity yet. I think I underestimated what I was going through.

Hi! How did surgery go? Thank God I had no complications. The only complaint has been gas pain. All is good. Yesterday I was allowed to have yogurt and today I had 4 oz of chicken broth with a blended egg. Everything so far my sleeve is agreeing with it. I am taking 6 weeks for my recovery ;-)

Surgery was good no complaints. I did throw up but I think I had eaten to much. No bad stomach pain just really tired.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
