I got my date (October 15th) and my insurance approval. I'm excited and nervous. Who else is being sleeved in October?

Well Friday Nov 29th i go back to work for the first time since my surgery on Oct 11th I'm excited I'm going back 45-50 lighter then when i started

You have to tell us what reactions you get. Going back to work smaller was a mixed bag for me- some people looked at me you could see them trying to figure out what was different. Most of the people who knew were okay, but some were intrusive and I could see them looking me up and down every time I would come around which for me was uncomfortable. Someone from another unit in the hospital heard I had gotten a tummy tuck (don't know how that rumor got started), came to my unit to find me, and actually touched my stomach and said how good it looked!! WTH?!? I know you're a guy so you probably won't have as many issues as the women do.

Well everyone pretty much knew what I went out for so it's no surprise I'm not ashamed I did what I had to do to live longer healthier and thinner nothing anyone could say or do would take that away from me I went in on Monday after my doc appt and my he was like omg you look great so I'm sure that will be most peoples reaction any other s can go stuff it lol but tbh I had nothing but support before I went out so I assume it will be the same when I go back but I'll keep everyone posted its weird to me that I'm going back to work 50 pounds lighter then when I left 6 weeks ago

So I am 5 weeks post op. I lost a total of 27 pounds, 17 of that has been post op. I have been stalled for the past two weeks. Please tell me I am not alone in this. I can't do protein shakes, long story. But I make sure that I eat 5 meals a day and it's all protein.

It happens to everyone I had it and still do off and on mine was A week in a half long but also now and then I'll go 3 days before I loose a pound it's all part of it your body is just adjusting

People I'm about to hit a milestone in my weight loss !!!!!!!!!!!! Just being back to work for one day I'm one pound away from 50 pounds loss and work was good

Please add me!! Lordiliwen@aol.com. Thanks!

First day back to work! It's was refreshing to kind of start with a clean sheet. I'd been gone for 6 weeks.. Surgery was 6weeks ago today! Down two dress sizes..and it was funny trying to read reactions. I got a few that said you look so good.. The two people, that knew what was going on..were really praising the healthiness and happy for me! The people that didn't know..well I gave them a new hair style to be surprised by as well. So it was funny to hear..oh you look so rested and relaxed! Your hair is great. Side note on the hair..I got it in a really short curly style...because my hair started to shed!!! ;-) however it's been a good change..I'm trying something completely different! And you know what..once you have had your stomach rearranged..or modified.. A hairstyle is extremely simple! All in all it was interesting to get the reaction..or I'd say the you look so relaxed...reaction! Happy first days to you all!

Well I hit a mile stone in my weight loss as of today I'm over 50 pounds loss from pre surgery to today

Congratulations BigLew. Hitting those milestones and goals is an Awesome feeling isn't it?

I'm exactly 2 calendar months out and today I broke the -50lb barrier! Weighed in this morning at 189 - started at 240 the day I started my pre-op diet.

This all seems to be going far too easily - I'm convinced my luck is going to run out soon!

Can I be added to the October FB group? mmittiga113@gmail.com

Thanks

Please add me to the FB group as well. The first time there must've been a glitch in the matrix, lol.
