October Sleevers - Who else

I got my date (October 15th) and my insurance approval. I'm excited and nervous. Who else is being sleeved in October?

I'm really hoping for an October date! My insurance approved on the 12th of September - keeping my fingers crossed I hear soon! I'm in UT w Dr Richards.
that would be cool but you will probibly forget soon as thy give you the date Dori ;) keep my fingers x for you mine is 21st.

This may be tmi but I have had water diarrhea since Wednesday when I started my pre op liquid diet it doesn't hurt it's just annoying . Is this normal ?

I'm October 15th as well. Does everybody have to do the fasting thing 7 days before?

I did not have any sort of preop diet

It's my day! Surgery is at noon today. Trying not to think about it because doubt only creates fear, and I'm not afraid of getting my life back :)

Keep us updated when you can.

I don't. My doctor is actually very flexible with the pre-op diet.

No preop diet do me just clear liquids Sunday with surgery Monday the 14th but I have to be there at 6:15am.

Since my surgery is on Monday I had the great idea to go to a casino with my partner to play my favorite slot machine for awhile not thinking I'm on a liquid diet I FORGOT MY PROTEIN SHAKES AT HOME ARRRGH!

October 21 is my surgery date and I am feeling all types of emotions.... But I am happy to get this done
me too! what is your pre-op like? I have 2 weeks high protein low carb - 1200 calories. Feel like I passed a hurdle w/ day 5. Good luck!!

My surgery is scheduled for Thursday Oct. 17th. I have been on the 2 wk liquid diet, which includes Meal Replacement shakes, broth and sugarfree popsicles. It was really rough at first, but has gotten a lot easier!

I will be on this phase til Tues the 15th then Clear liquids the day before surgery.

Wishing u all the best!!!

I'm in on the 15th as well... 12 days Protein shakes (3 a day) & light 100 cal yogurt 2x a day. All clear liquids the last two days. Definitely feels like I'm fasting! Lost 14 lbs then nothing for the past few days... Maybe my body thinks I'm starving and is hanging on to the reserves- trying to convince it to let go!

The same happened to me on my preop diet- I lost lbs daily and toward the end it totally slowed down. I still lost my needed preop weight.
