  1. Also, if your doctor hasn't already given you a pill called Emend that you take prior to surgery to control nausea afterwards, call him and ask if you can please get it! I had it and didn't have ANY nausea afterward. A friend had surgery on Tuesday and was soooooooo nauseated and had dry heaves for first 8 hours after surgery.
  2. GET A HEATING PAD! It will become your best friend. And, walk, walk, walk
  3. Okay, this is a little embarrassing, but, I can finally see my pubic area!!! AND, I have noticed a pubic pouch. It just looks like a little pouch I'm sure is from the extra weight I've carried for 20 years. My question is if there's anything I can do about this!!!!
  4. I tried some ginger tea tonite and it worked!!!!! This is the best my stomach has felt in weeks. Maybe I'm onto something.
  5. Thanks. Vitamins have been cut for over a week now.
  6. Yes, that's exactly what it feels like; however, It happens on a completely empty stomach. I had my endoscopy today and nothing, absolutely nothing was found. I haven't eaten anything all day, tried soup an hour ago. I had to stop after 3 bites and now, i'm still nauseated and my pain is at an 8 right now. I have to say I have the best surgeon. He gave me his cell phone and told me to text him anytime this weekend if I needed to. He has already text me 3 times since I been home. He's at a loss as well, but, isn't giving up. He's going to consult with some other doctors this weekend.
  7. Well, I have an endoscopy at 7 in the morning. They think that either scar tissue is blocking something? Or that the sleeeve is kinked. Guess I'll find out in the morning.
  8. Nope, no gallbladder. I think it's a hernia. Finally found something online that describes what I'm experiencing to a tee.
  9. Thanks! I go to the doctor tomorrow. Hopefully they will get it figured out.
  10. I have only had about 5 bites of food today. I've had this pain whenever I eat for about a week now. But, now the pain is almost unbearable when I eat. It's in the dead center of my abdomen right below my breast bone. I also get nauseated for about 15 min. Has anyone else experienced this?
  11. I'm sorry. You started lower than I, makes sense now....lol
  12. My surgery date is the same, but, my weight loss is no where close to yours. How have you progressed so quickly?
  13. Surgery was Oct 21st. Down 57 lbs.
  14. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
  15. Came into the hospital ER yesterday thinking I might have a leak or something. Found out I actually have a blockage in one of my heart valves. Very frustrated and scared. It just always seems like I try to get healthy and then I have a setback.............UGH!
  16. I would give anything for 3 lbs. a week!!!! That's great.
  17. I'm just eating normal, but, I try to do healthy. This is an example of what I had yesterday. Breakfast-oatmeal Lunch-Smart Ones chicken Enchilada Dinner- 2 (very small) baby back ribs and 1/4 cup of potato salad, 1/4 cup broccoli/carrots. Snack-100 calorie packet of walnuts and almonds Average about 700-800 cals a day. But, I've been on a stall for 3 weeks now. Ugh, frustrating
  18. I'm 3 months out and I'm curious as to how many calories, carbs, protein, etc everyone else is able to get down>?
  19. I'm 3 months out and struggle to get 800 calories in. My nut said that with all the exercise I'm doing, I have to find a way to get in more calories and more fluids. .......very frustrating.
  20. I watched this episode and this woman was lying to everyone including herself. She has a huge problem and it's emotional!!!
