  1. I don't feel any different when drinking. I feel like I could eat or drink as I did before. Wondering why I can't feel my sleeve getting full.
  2. The only issue I had was they put levoquin in my IV and i was allergic. So, then they started chasing it with benadryl. Other than a little gas pain, I really haven't had any complication. But, I'm only on day 4.
  3. I haven't had the full feeling yet, but, I'm also not hungry nor have an appetite. But, I'm definately able to get down more than a couple of tablespoons. Not what I expected.
  4. No cardigan needed. You look great!
  5. I was sleeved the same day. I haven't had the nausea, thank GOD. But, I have had plenty of gas pain. My fever and blood pressure started going up about an hour ago. Not sure what that's about but I'll just keep a check on it and hopefully it'll be fine. My hubby thinks I did too much today. I felt really good today so I walked alot and went into the office for a couple of hours. Tomorrow will be alay low day.
  6. Good to know. I was a little concerned.
  7. Four days post op and things aren't too bad. Yesterday the gas pain was awful. But, today, it has eased up alot. Still not getting my fluids all in but i'm trying. I have had a little bit of diarrhea the past two days. Hopefully that will go away. I almost felt on the side of normal today.
  8. It's really weird, but, I don't have to sip. I just drink normally. I wonder why???
  9. Yes, I'm 3 days out as well. As soon as i begin to swallow ANY liquid, the pain starts. Hopefully this will subside.
  10. No catheter, no drain tube, went home 24 hours laterr.
  11. thanks everyone. I'm not severely nauseous, justmore annoying. Seems to happen right after i drink and only lasts for litl bit. I am definately walking, walking, walking. Still pushing the fluids.
  12. I'm on day 3 and this day is the worse by far.
  13. Is your gas pain gone yet? Are you having any trouble drinking?
  14. On day three, my pain is a little worse, a little nausea and headache, which i'm sure could be from not drinking enough. But, so far, day 3 is the worse.
  15. In general, how long does it take for the gas pain to go away?
  16. I had everything built up to be the worse, that I think that's why it's going so easy. SO FAR! Don't wanna jinx myself. The swallow didn't bother me.
  17. Sounds like me exactly. No nausea here as well.
  18. I'M SLEEVED! Surgery went great. But, the gas is a killer. My doctor doesn't allow anything (not even ice chips) by mouth for 24 hours. So that was a little tough. The walking really does make you feel better. Still have gas pains in my left shoulder and chest. When I sip my water or broth, I get pain in the upper part of my stomach. But, all in all, everything is very tolerable for the moment.
  19. Less than 4 hours away. A little nervous, but, not too bad. I'm just ready to get this and the next 6 weeks behind me,so I can start my new life.
  20. Me three! So excited. Just a tad nervous.
  21. Yay, I'm a biggg baby as well. Today's my day.
  22. 12 hours from now I'll be on my way to the hospital. Is there anything special that I will need? Maybe some little trick for the gas? LOL
  23. 12 hours from now I'll be on my way.
  24. Thanks!!! Definately made me feel better.
