Probably gonna tick some people off.......lol
You are absolutely right, I am only two months out and maybe I will be able to eat more later. But, for now. 2-3 bites is enough for me. But, you won't make me feel guilty for having a cookie, especially here at Christmas. YOU are one of those people that won't to talk down to people who slip. I refuse to do that. I'm human. I slipped. Glad you have not.

Oh, and, no, I'm not a confrontational person at all. Just sick of seeing all these people remarking on other people's comments about how awful they are and how they shouldn't have even had the surgery if they're going back to old habits.

Probably gonna tick some people off.......lol
ACTUALLY, my stomach will not allow it. After 2 or 3 bites, I'm done. I seriously cannot eat anymore. Maybe I'm different. No, I don't have it all figured out. But, I also don't slam someone for "slipping." It happens, well, to me anyway. I guess you're one of the "strong" ones. I, for one, am not. I slip, I confess, and guess what, I'm STILL losing weight.........lol. Not really sure what a slider food is. Because nothing just slides right through me........lol

Probably gonna tick some people off.......lol
Okay, I see all these posts where people freak out because they ate something they shouldn't have. Yes, we are supposed to eat ALOT of Protein, which I do. And, we're supposed to drink lots of Water, which I try to do, we're not supposed to drink out of a straw, which I do, I haven't died or had any more pain than not, we're not supposed to eat bread, which I have a couple of times, it hasn't made me sick, if I have a craving for a cookie, I eat it. The bottom line is even if you slip and eat a little of something you're not supposed to , it's not going to ruin your life or end your results. The truth is you will never be able to sit and eat a whole bag of doritoes or a whole package of oreos again. You're stomach will not allow it. So don't freak out because you "slipped" a little, just realize you're human and you're losing weight no matter what. Now for all you haters out there go ahead and blow me out of the water with your drama, I know it's coming. ........lol

One week post op- got a suprise
Yes Ma'am, I did the exact same thing. Not only did I get one after NOT having one for four months, but, it was the worse one I had in years. It was awful. The cramps were unbelievable. I called my nurse and she said yes, anesthesia can do that.

Freaked out by a stumble and I need to pull myself back up
Dang, you did good compared to what I had.

Anyone Else Think That They'll Be The One That Will Die?!?
My thought was , "who didn't think that." LOL.............I too, researched how to prevent a blood clot and did everything it said. I'm almost 8 weeks and love it!

My Surgeon Doesn't Require A Pre-Op Diet?
Also, I was able to eat soft foods at 2 weeks out. ANYTHING that was soft.

My Surgeon Doesn't Require A Pre-Op Diet?
My doc didn't require a liquid diet either. Just a fairly restrictive. No fats, no fried foods, lots of protein and a few green veggies. I had a great surgery and recovery.

Day One POST-op! Any others :)
I'm doing great. Weight loss is slow for me. I was on a 3 week stall at my 3rd week post op. But, losing again now, but, still slow. I have had very few problems. I was only really tired for about a week at my 4th week. Absolutely no energy that week and just wanted to sleep. I'm loving my sleeve. No regrets.

Hungry Every Two Hours

Hungry Every Two Hours
I'm five weeks out now and my doctor allowed food at 2 weeks post op. SOFT FOODS. But pretty much anything I wanted. For dinner I had tilapia and green Beans. 2 hours later, a deviled egg. And now here at 10, I had half a Fiber tortilla and cheese...Somedays I get my protein in and I still have the issue.
-
Hungry?
I was exactly the same way. But, now at 5 weeks out, oh, I definately know when I'm full.
-
Hungry Every Two Hours
Does anyone else have this problem. I eat, but, then about two hours later, I'm starving. Is there anything out there that is REALLY filling? I'm so freaking hungry all the time. But, other than that, I'm loving the sleeve.

Losing My Legs And Butt...look Like A Marshmallow Held Up With 2 Toothpicks....
Oh, this made me laugh. I say be proud of it. At least you're not carrying all your weight around anymore. Unfortunately, I will be you. I've got boobs, always have had. But, no butt or hips and chicken legs. So, I too, know it's coming....lol

Pissed Off Husband
Will be thinking of you as you have your surgery on Thursday. Hang in there!

Pissed Off Husband
I'm sorry; but, it's funny how no one noticed the deleted word until you pointed it out. It's funny how THAT is what you noticed.

Pissed Off Husband
I'm sorry, but, she didn't say anything out of line. This is not a place to be judged or to be corrected for your language. Really???

Pissed Off Husband
All I can say is WOW. I think there is something ELSE going on with your hubby. At least, I hope he isn't normally like this. I think you should be very proud. You have lost a tremendous amount of weight and it seems you've done great in the past year. Are you sure that the bypass is the last resort? I don't know much about the issues you're having. But, I hope things work out for you. I say stand strong against your husband and be proud of what you've done.

October Sleevers...weight Coming Off Slower Than Expected?
I'm actually at 16 lb weight loss since surgery as well. (10/21)....I hit a plateau for 10 days and didn't lose a pound, then it started coming down again yesterday. I think we're on track.
-
10 Days Since Scale Moved!
I KNOW I'm not getting in enough Fluid or Protein. But, I'm trying, just really not able to right now. By the way, I lost 3 lbs. yesterday, so maybe, it's budging.

10 Days Since Scale Moved!
Interesting read. Thanks.

10 Days Since Scale Moved!
I'm getting so frustrated. How can I only be getting between 700-800 calories a day and NOT be losing weight. I'm only 3 1/2 weeks out. (Surgery was 10/21) I don't think a stall this soon is normal.
