24 hours post-op

I'M SLEEVED!

Surgery went great. But, the gas is a killer. My doctor doesn't allow anything (not even ice chips) by mouth for 24 hours. So that was a little tough. The walking really does make you feel better. Still have gas pains in my left shoulder and chest. When I sip my water or broth, I get pain in the upper part of my stomach. But, all in all, everything is very tolerable for the moment.

Congratulations!! Even when I wasn't walking, I would roll my shoulders around, just to try to move the gas. It only lasted a day or so. Heat helped too. Be well!!
