I had my sleeve Oct 15/13....2 weeks out....feeling great....back to work tomorrow!! Life is great! Down 35 lbs this am!

no problems drinking.....worse gas pain is over it seems! I seem to get more gas with water than Gatorade or others....walking makes it go away though!

Am 8 days post op and down 30 lbs.....wow! I am so happy with my sleeve! That is 9 lbs pre op and 21 lbs post op! Unbelievable really! Still on clear fluids till tomorrow then full fluids....feeling better every day!

I ride an 01 Road King with the crazy 88.....sweet ride! Will be getting smaller gear in the spring!! Yahoooo!

Hello....I post op day 5 and dr put me on clear fluids for a week post op then full fluid after....but was not feeling well at all just link constant gas pain or hunger? Believe it or not I made my husband homemade turkey stew and before all ingredients were added....I scooped some broth from turkey boil...had 3 tablespoons of it and let me say....it was 100% difference!

Home now! Feels great...missed my husband a ton....and yes recovery and weight loss will be much easier at home! Thanks!

Your stomach needs time to heal from surgery....take in fluids (clear)....I am sipping Gatorade and it's been good so far! The smells of food are great but I know eating right now will do more harm than good....hang in there!

Well.....it's official.....I am on a new chapter in my life! Vsg done on Oct 15/2013 in Tijuana Mx.....discharged from hospital yesterday oct 17/2013.....now on way home....can't wait! Amazing people at clinic I had surgery done at...Dr. Ismael Cabrera is amazing! I must say....the surgery was a breeze....but while drain is in it's pretty uncomfortable....the gas is excruciating.....BUT....it does pass! I am feeling great....and excited to get home to my husband and fur babies! Will update ASAP!

Heading to MX for my surgery.....soooooo excited! A bit nervous but I know it will be a fresh start for me!
