You can cross the boarder with an enhanced driver's license, as long as you're driving and not flying directly into Mexico... It's WAY cheaper and faster... If your self pay (as I was) you already have enough expenses on your plate!

im being safe and I applied for my passport card today.. and had it expedited will be back within 2-3 weeks..

I expidited mine and got it in a week and a half. 8 business days. I was shocked.

I applied on 08.13 and got an email saying its been mailed. I should have it by 09.04.

I did not pay to expedite it.

It took me six weeks to the day to receive my passport and passport card.
