I did not pay the extra $$$ to expedite mine. I went to Walgreen's for my photo and to the post office to pay the money and have them send it off for processing. At my post office they only process them up until a certain time on Saturdays and if your name is not on the list then you have to come back a different day. You might check to find out the times they do this. The payment had to be in a cash or money order. No plastic. I don't think they take checks either, but don't remember for sure. August 14, 201312 yr The people that returned with us didn't have a passport just a ID AND BIRTH CERTIFICATE THEY NEVER QUESTIONED IT I WAS SURPRISED !

August 27, 201312 yr Author I did a passport card and had it rushed. It took less than 10 business days. I hope mine comes that fast. I also did passport card and expedited it. I believe I applied Aug 21 ...whichever day Wednesday was. Anyhow that was exactly 3 weeks from scheduled flight.

August 29, 201312 yr I'm doing my passport cardboard tomorrow and having it rushed to scared to cross without it..my date is 10/10
August 29, 201312 yr You can cross the boarder with an enhanced driver's license, as long as you're driving and not flying directly into Mexico... It's WAY cheaper and faster... If your self pay (as I was) you already have enough expenses on your plate!
