1. I went like clockwork before my surgery in July. Now, I drink smooth move herbal tea two- three times a week and it works wonders! I had the same problem and someone on here told me about the tea. Good luck!
2. The Marriott has free wifi. They will give you a log in and password when you check in. I am unsure about the hospital.
3. Surgery 7/1/13 HW - 288 Current weight - 224
4. I had constipation so bad... and tried everything. Finally - I tried smooth move herbal tea.... and it works wonders. It's amazing in a cup of tea. You can buy it at walmart for under $5.00.
5. I had surgery with Dr. Ortiz @ OCC July 1st. Happy to answer any questions you may have. Best thing I have ever done! Definitely plan on going back for plastics.
6. I did a passport card and had it rushed. It took less than 10 business days.
7. I didn't use enspira. During pre-op I liked premier protein. Post-op, I use isopure and premier.
8. No. I am home and 10 days post op. I hate to sound cheesey.... but I feel great! My energy is coming back slowly but surely and I am down 35lbs total. ( I started a high protein low carb diet one week before pre op officially started.) Dr. Ortiz and his staff are amazing! I am so happy made the choice of surgery and most of all with Dr. Ortiz. I had very little pain and no nausea at all... I think my quick recovery is a testament to the doctor. My worst symtom after surgery was jusy being sleepy... I felt like I could sleep for days. Today, my biggest problem is protein. I have always been a big drinker, so getting plenty of fluids isn't a problem. I struggle to get 30-40 grams a day. If I have a shake in the morning.... I am stuffed all day! If you are thinking of Dr. Ortiz & OCC, and have any questions about the trip, clinic, surgery, etc... please feel free to ask! I wish eveyone the very best & loads of weight loss!
9. My surgery is Monday 7/1 with Dr. Ortiz. So far the process has been very smooth. They have all been quick to respond to all my questions and needs. Lori is very friendly and helpful.
10. Oh no!!! Where are you flying from? We don't arrive in San Diego until 6:15pm.
11. Pre-op has had it's moments. The first three days I was really sick with a sinus infection... so I stayed in bed. But, lately it's not too bad. Just trying to keep my self busy so I don't think to much about it. How are y'all doing? Ready for Monday? Are you all flying in Sunday evening?
12. My surgery is with Dr. Ortiz, Monday 7/1. So far my experience with his staff has been awesome. I haven't heard anything negative him or OCC. He has a bunch of videos on you tube, maybe that will help Best of luck to you!
13. I took a picture prior to my two week pre-op. My surgery is next Monday and I will probably take another and then weekly after that! Best of luck to everybody! Can't wait to see all the pictures!
14. I'm July 1st in Mexico too, with OCC Dr. Ortiz. I live in rural, eastern Oklahoma... where abouts in OK are you?
15. July 1st. Best of luck to you!
16. My surgery is July 1st too! (W/ Dr. A. Ortiz) I will be staying at the Marriott... but leaving the 4th. Good luck to you!
17. I started my pre-op yesterday. I'm unsure why my doctor has a 15 day pre-op...but i'm sure he has some reason. Day 1 - last night I thought I was going to cry. I had a headache all day (still do). I am nauseous from the headache and lack of food. Today is day 2.... urg. Good luck to everyone!
