JpWill - what did you think of the Hotel Lurcerna?

My surgery date is this Friday, July 26th, with Dr. Kelly. Getting real excited! I will be at Nova. I will post hospital pics once I am there.

I attempted to setup my surgery countdown ticker, but when I completed the information it showed I was several months POST-OP. I not scheduled for schedule until July 26th. How do I fix this?

Leslie, I am scheduled for the Gastric Sleeve with Dr. Kelly (Dr. Jamie Ramos-Kelly) for July 26th. He is in Tijuana. I booked my surgery directly with his office instead of going thru one of the medical brokers. It didn't change the price, but I knew I was getting correct information straight out of his office. He is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but he is one of the most experienced. He also trained in the US and is a member of all of the various US associations for doctors. I started my Pre-Op diet last Thursday. As of this morning, I have already lost 11 lbs. I'm getting more excited with each day that is closer to the 26th.

I finally gave up on the financing & went self pay for surgery in Mexico. The down payment requirements with these medical financing companies were about the same as total package costs if you went to Mexico. I hope things work out better for you.

Just started pre-op diet on Thursday. I'm down 9 lbs. my surgery is scheduled for July 26th with Dr. Kelly in Tijuana.

I'm going to MX to be sleeved by Dr. Kelly on July 26th. Started my pre-op this past Thursday, already down 5 lbs.

I'm scheduled with Dr. Kelly for Friday, July 26th at Nova Hospital. Real excited, except for the pre-op diet between now & then.

If you are willing to come to Texas & don't want to do Mexico, there are a lot of doctors in the Dallas area doing cash packages for $11,000 & less.

Does anyone have a contact phone number for reaching Dr. Kelly direct or an email address?

Does anyone have any experience with MX doctors or their hospitals that have been recognized by the Surgical Review Corporation under the Center of Excellence program? I have notice a couple of doctors who have either stated that they had been approved as a Center of Excellence or as a Surgeon of Excellence or even display the CMCOEM logo, yet when you go to SRC website, they are not listed as such.
