I have recently received alarming reports from patients who have sent deposits or paid in full for surgeries in Tijuana to a patient coordinator named Bill Yanez. He is now working once again as a coordinator for Dr. Jalil Illan in Tijuana.

Please exercise extreme caution when dealing with Dr. Jalil Illan at BC Hospital and coordinators Bill Yanez. They have a history of financial misconduct, having embezzled significant sums of money from me during their tenure as coordinators at BariatricPal Hospital/BC Hospital. Furthermore, I have personally experienced severe surgical complications under the care of Dr. Illan, who botched my surgery not once but twice.

There are many reputable and trustworthy options for bariatric surgery in Mexico. Please do not risk your health and finances by entrusting them to a surgeon and coordinators with a track record of dishonesty and malpractice.

If these individuals have victimized you, I urge you to report them to your local authorities and the FBI. Their actions are unethical and illegal, and they will face the consequences of their actions in due course.

I went for plastic surgery, mommy makeover!! I was ripped off money, botched, ended up with blood clots and sepsis. And blocked and ignored from them and Dr Olin Carrasco who performed part of my surgery. These people are con artists!! Bill Yanez is a horrible person for allowing this. I was also sexually harassed by a valet driver.

Bill Yanez died a few days ago, and his son says Dr. Illan was responsible. Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if Dr. Illan intentionally messed up Bill’s surgery to get him out of the picture. I say that because he did the exact same thing to me. I almost died in my own hospital after that monster operated on me. The world’s better off without Bill, and it’ll be even better once Dr. Illan is gone too.

I had my deposit and Electronic payment stolen after I told

Them I was approved by my insurance in the state I live in and they told

Me that I had 11 cancellations/reschedules @$200.00 ea = $2200.00 -$350.00 (deposit) and the $500.00 , which left a balance of me owing them $1,350.00.

Lmao they must be insane, I cancelled and rescheduled because my husband suddenly passed away June 24,2024 last year and I could not go after that , and my 11 yr old son is the one that found bud stepfather so the thought of me leaving to have surgery in Tijuana left him in a panic so I not only had to reschedule when he died but afterwords and I tried to schedule thunking I was ready and the time would come and I realized that was nit ready

when I thought I was ready I was not , I was so severely depressed and sad and still am. I am just able to keep it in better now, is all but how dare they charge me they never said they were charging me cuz if they did I def would not have cancelled 11 times at 200 bucks a pop!!!!

Beyond thankful Karma took ahold of part of the situation, sorry not sorry, I was scammed, botched and left for dead!! Also they are licensed in Chula Vista as a "hospitality" place not a hospital. They owe me $5500 for services paid but not rendered, and another almost $15000 for a surgeon to fix what he can. Hospital Bc and Dr. Carrasco, Mr. Bill Yanez, Amore, all of them sick disgusting wastes of skin, con artists!!

I am so sorry you went through this.

They stole a large amount of my money, and Dr. Illan botched my surgery twice. He also forged multiple documents and cannot be trusted. I initially thought it was just a surgical mistake, but after he operated on Bill Yanez and caused his death, I now believe Dr. Illan tried to eliminate me in the same way.
