So I got a few bottles of Isopure.. Different flavors.. I tried the Alpine Punch.. It is not good.. Do you all have any good mixtures or ways to doctor it up so it isn't so gross? :(

I found it to be a horrible evil drink, hated one sip after another. With so many other options on the market, I showed this one the door!

I tried lots of things. Even mixed it with Jello. NASTY NASTY NASTY STUFF!!! I agree with Bunny. There are too many other options that are much better.

I cut mine 50/50 with either Water, Hint essence water, or G2. I find it tolerable that way. Not good, but tolerable. Some examples:

apple melon Isopure mixed with Hint Watermelon essence water

Peach mango Isopure mixed with citrus mango G2 natural

stuff like that.

You should only drink Isopure from glass or ceramic containers -- if you put it in plastic (or even steel, I have found), you will never get the smell out again!

I must be weird because I do not mind it at all. It does have to be very very cold.

How long are you supposed to drink it for? Mine is only 3 days... The Isopure mix is sooooo good! In love with Dutch chocolate!

I don't start my liquid diet until next Tuesday.. But I am a creature of habit.. So I am starting to cut back meals and try different Protein drinks now so it's not such a shock to my body when I actually have to do it. I guess I was just looking for something other than the creamy chocolate ones.. I can't stand the vanilla ones..

Sooo.. All my Isopure is going back to GNC.. this is the second time I tried it.. Just a few sips and it makes my tummy feel incredibly nasty.. So they are going back! I also hate and unnerves me to see it foam when Water is added to it.. My search for other Protein Drinks continues..

About 50% of people luv Isopure and 50% HATE it. I'm a hater. I spent a fortune on the stuff 4 yrs ago before my lapband and couldn't even finish 1/4 of 1 bottle. Wish I coulda tasted it beforehand. And back then I had no clue that GNC.com has a taste guarantee. If you don't like it they'll give you ur money back.

My hubby thought it tasted like rotten meat!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
