Um, I'm not sleeved yet. But - eating uncooked ramen which could expand in your sleeve? I'd think that would be a questionable choice. But, again. I'm not sleeved and not an expert.

Why, if you don't mind my asking, that particular choice of snack? Seems high in carbs and in general not nutrient rich. A month out, seems Proteins and liquids would be a priority? Don't mean that to sound snotty. Not how it's meant at all. Just wondering.

Well to be quite honest, yes we can eat anything we put our mind to.

I think where the problem lies is why eat that?

It might not have harmed you but it's not very good for you at this point either...

I know, that was a bad choice of Snacks but it was a momentary lapse. I should be more careful.

Oh and as far as the volume? Yes, it makes sense.

You will always be able to eat more of a nutritionally void food (junk) than the preferred sleeve diet of Protein....

Sad but true reality, because I know skinless boneless chicken breasts did not get me here.

Hey, no judgement here. If I was able to make good choices all the time, I certainly wouldn't be in the shape I'm in and in pre-op for surgery. The expansion possibility of this food concerns me. Don't want you to hurt yourself!

I have a feeling, I'll be doing some serious pantry cleansing to get the tempting stuff out of sight, out of mind!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
