I too agree' date=' my body enjoys ADR - or I thought it did! I mean, I feel good, it makes me enjoy my eating days and look forward to fast days as days I don't have to think about food. But after 19 days and no loss, I'm pretty bummed.[/quote']

That totally Buns me out for YOU! We've got to be able to figure out a way to Kick start your body back into losing mode. Maybe change up When your fasting span is. Like eat earlier in the day and then fast the twelve if you are eating later in the morning etc. try eating a few more carbs a few days (if they are available) and then go back to low carb reduction to see if it will trick your body. I know you are limited right now I. What you have to work with! Sometimes I have to change up my routine to get losing again. Best to you!!!

Globe, keep in mind 5:2 was designed as a longevity plan, and weight loss came second. Its still working even when you don't lose weight. If you like it, do it! AT least the 5:2 part.....

GeorgiaGeorgiaGeorGIAH! GeorgiaGeorgiaGeorGIAH! (sung to the conga line tune) yay! Were you completely naked when you weighed? Before a shower? I take any advantage I can get, lol.

Eating day since it is my Monday (it's Sunday), 2 scrambled eggs, .5C roasted potato, tea w/milk.

a double chocolate mocha frozen Protein Shake

Whatever Protein they offer at dinner, plus whatever greens they have for salad, 2 TBSP caesar dressing.

Flax seed in my shake, Vitamins and probiotic pills.

YES! Just peed, stripped to the bare, and standing just right! ha! Lol. No, I actually weighed about 5 times to get my picture just right And it was the same all times!

NOW, the real work starts! Although, I am going to continue "as is" right now as this is my new lifestyle.

The frozen Protein Shake sounds good!!!

Another 1lb this week, now 175lb, total loss on 5:2 so far is 6lb. It seems to be working for me.

I don't know if Monday weigh in is good though as it is after the weekend indulgences! I did see a lower number on the scale on Friday so I know it is achievable.

Awesome! That bounce is a norm for me. I hit a new low, bounce around a few days or a week, then hold that low before moving down again.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
