Omg, I have never been so constipated in my life. Nothing is working. (Warning: TMI) I had to disimpact myself it was so bad. I feel awful. Does anyone else have Constipation and how do you prevent it? I think I'm going back to liquids for awhile.

TMI warning! I had the same problem. I took Milk of Magnesia. When hat wasn't enough, I used A Fleets enema. After fighting it for a month this way, I now take three stool softener a a day - one in the morning and two at night. In addition, I take two Fiberwell gummies. Each Gummie has 5 grams of Fiber. It is what finally worked for me.

Take magnesium That will help . At least 2 capsules. Also take Miralax at least every other day.Make sure you're drinking plenty of Water. '

I do still have to use a fleet enema too, but the magnesium has made a huge difference.

I'm drinking some diluted prune juice at this very moment - I'm hoping it works because I'm in the same boat you are.

I use a stool.softener everyday and metimusil clear and natural daily... that works for me. It's the combination of the two that works for me. One by itself is not enough. Hope this helps...

Are you taking Iron? I was all backed up a few weeks back, even though the Iron I was taking was supposed to non-constipating.

I switched to Ferosal, a plant-based iron, and I only take it every 3 days. Plus I add fiber powder to my yogurt and applesauce. Things are working pretty well. I use stool softener if I feel constipated for more than a day. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestions! I obviously need some fiber so maybe I'll start using the clear citrucel or Metamucil. I don't ever want this to happen again. I also need to drink more Water. The fiber gummies sound good too.

Oh gosh I know how you feel! You can start by taking a dulcolax suspository that should clean you out pretty quickly. Then I can only speak for myself, I chew two Gummy Fiber chews every morning, that seems to work for me, I go regularly about every three days or so. I haven't had constipation since I started the gummies. Good Luck!

Yes, Magnesium every day. Most people have a magnesium deficiency anyway.

Try to drink as much Water as you can.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
