It falls out for about three months and then stops. It does grow back so try not to worry too much. I got a cute haircut to camouflage the thinning areas. There were times when I wanted to cry. It does get better. Keep your head up!

Mine fell out pretty bad from the 5th-10th month. Now at 17 mo out I think it's thicker than it has been in a few years. But still alittle thin. I take my Vitamins and Biotin everyday since 6 month before surgery.

I am 9 months out from surgery and I assure you it does stop. I was pretty stressed about it too. Mine started around 12 weeks post op and continued until about month 6. I started taking a Biotin 5000mg daily and that REALLY helped! No worries, once you get further out your body will stabilize and everything will return to normal. Just keep taking your recommended Vitamins and supplements everyday. Also, making sure you are definitely getting at least 60 grams of Protein per day is essential. Good Luck!

My hair is falling out like crazy. I want to cry please tell me this ends. And it will grow back.

Have you tried Prenatal Vitamins, "hair, skin, and nail vitamins", or Biotin?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
