I called the insurance company and they tell me I'm approved for August 8th!! My first reaction was to scream of happiness but now I'm scared to fail and scared for any complications.. How do I get these feeling off my mind!!

Same here, I'm August 8th I was SO excited, then the nerves started getting the best of me!! This is BIG, but we will do wonderful!!! I'm still nervous, today I've gone back over my guidebook my weight loss center provided, just to refresh my brain about everything!! It helped reading about the surgery, also I've been on here today looking at before and afters....these things have helped me!!! Still nervous though, which is totally normal...good luck to you!!! We start our amazing journey together.....

You will have doubts until you get on the table. But you will have more good thoughts when u wake up and about 4weeks post op. you will also think "what the hell did I do!" In the first week. You will make it and you will not regret in the long run. So says the one 3 months out and 64 lbs off.

64 lbs in 3 months, I can't wait. I'm just a lil scared I won't be strong enough but I guess one day at a time right!?! :D

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
