Anyone in the Boston/North area?

Hi,

I just joined the site a few days ago. I'm WAY pre-op. My insurance requires a 6 month program first, but I'd love to chat or meet up with someone who's either had the surgery or is pre-op and waiting like me.

Hi kelzz27: Congratulations on your journey. I wish you the best of luck. If there are any questions I can help you with please let me know. Monday is my big day. I'm excited and nervous. Which doctor did you choose for your procedure? I went with Dr. Julie Kim. She is very nice.:)

Well today is August 13 my Birthday!! I had my vertical sleeve surgery yesterday and everything went great. I ended up having a hernia which my doctor repair as well. Dr.Julie Kim and the staff at Mt Auburn hospital in Cambridge Massachusetts care just wonderful. I couldn't have ask for a better experience.

Congrats. I am pre-op with Dr. Kim.

I'm in Marblehead, had my surgery 1 month ago at Salem hospital with Dr Rivera...he's amazing! So far so good :)

Hi everyone. I had a band with Dr. Lautz (who was at Brigham and Women's at the time) in 2007. Kept off 56 pounds, but the band slipped and I had a lot of problems with it. Decided to go for a sleeve revision, and I'm scheduled on December 9 at Salem Hospital/North Shore Medical Center with Dr. Benedetto. So far, been thrilled with the way they've handled things. I'm just finishing my first week of Carnation Essentials sugar free Instant Breakfast. I'm glad to meet everyone on this group.
