I'm in Marblehead, had my surgery 1 month ago at Salem hospital with Dr Rivera...he's amazing! So far so good

Is this normal? I wasn't hungry at all until about 3 days ago, now I'm starving...

I was sleeved on July 17th..stayed in the hospital 4 days and have been doing well ever since. Meeting my goals for liquids has been difficult but I'm getting my protein in. I'm taking protein shots (drinkable) which have 45g of protein mixed in whatever I'm drinking and sipping away. Also sprinkling protein powder on EVERYTHING, jello, yogurt, cottage cheese, everything. I'm on liquids for another week, honestly dying to chew food, but staying strong... Down 24lbs since surgery 12 days ago...loving my sleeve ????

I was sleeved 7/17/13... Bedtime seems to be the hardest time for me... That and trying to swallow painkillers, the pills are dreadful.... Hopefully things get better this week....

I'm being sleeved in Salem MA... How about you?

I think being nervous is normal... None of us really know what to expect.... That being said, I'm psyched to be this close, wish it was Wednesday already... Please, let's update each other on our progress.... 7/17 woo hoo!!!

That's GREAT!!! We have to do a 2 week liquid diet, 12days to go....hope I survive lol

My head has been POUNDING all day... Not hungry, just need to get rid of this headache. I suffer from migraines and I'm terrified that this will turn into one...

I started my 2 week pre op diet yesterday...havent been hungry at all....but I woke up with one hell if a headache, I'm guessing the above 90 degree weather isn't helping much either... I'm reminding myself often that this is just part of the process and a means to an end... Now if only this headache will go away, sigh
