What are your 'non scale' New Years Goals

Recommended Posts

Sometimes I get so wrapped up in the scale I forget about the other stuff. Things I would like to do in 2007...

1. Expand my business to a larger location (if the opportuntiy presents itself and it feels right.)

2. Save more money towards getting a house. (Stop wasting money)

3. Let go of my children a little more than I have been.

4. Visit my parents atleast once.

5. Be less defensive and more open-minded

6. Be more social and make more of an effort to have real friends.

7. Cook more and eat out less.

8. Work out a financial plan for my future...and stick to it!

That's it for now.

1. I slipped a few times this year going to the Casino, not a good place for me. So NOT entering the Casino in 2007!!!!

2. Paying off my Visa, Yikes!!

3. Before the end of the year, I would like to jog. Even if it's a little bit.

4. Grow my hair back.

5. Have more fun with my family.

Make more of an effort to keep and make friends.

Deal with stress in a more healthy way.

Learn to make eye contact with men. Tough one for me.

Plan a block party for the end of the summer.

To reduce the amount of nagging I do.

To stop making lists...oops, I did it again.

I know what you mean about the casino Cloe, I think whatever we do we do it in a big way!

Lately, I haven't gone because I am able to tell myself that I am saving for flights, fills, and plastic surgery!

I think I will add to my list to not go to the LOCAL casino. I will leave the others as fair game if I feel like playing.

Mookie...that wasn't a list...think of it as a poem!

It is going to be a great new year!

Good thread Bandiva.

1. Not be so neurotic

2. Learn to control my OCD (tough one)

3. Recognize when I'm on the verge of "freakin' out" so that I don't do it

4. Control the way I react to stress better

5. Appreciate Mr Yoda much better than I sometimes do (ie. do to the above!)

6. Let things lie

Ooooh, I love this thread:

1. Make a trip to the dentist (I have an extreme fear and this was on last years list but I didn't make it )

2. Increase the frequency of my love life (with my husband of course!)

3. Potty train my daughter (Lord help me with this one)

4. Increase my workouts to 5 days a week

5. Pay attention to eating consciously rather than mindlessly.

6. Try to attain the best possible health I can

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
