I was banded in 2005 and was very successful losing over 100lbs in a year. But I had a slippage the following year and my weight dipped to a low of 87lbs. It was removed just before Christmas 2008. My weight slowly crept back on and I struggled to keep it off. Finally this year I decided that my health and return of diabetes needed the band re-inserted. I'm now waiting surgery this week.
