And I wore a bathing suit! Lost 30 lbs total...what a difference that made! Still have 50 lbs to go...this is a blessing for all of us!

That's awesome! I haven't been to the beach since dinosaurs roamed the earth & I think I'm too old now to do so but I get happy hearing of other people experiencing joy!

I am pre-op and avoid the beach like the plague. Im really happy for you that you were able to go, and feel good in a bathing suit. I hope I follow in your footsteps:)

Excuse the lack of drawing talent...but think this is powerful, and a good reminder for us all that we only get one shot at this life thing...better to learn to live the challenge instead of waiting for clear skies :-)

So true! I doubt that any of us when our time is over will say "if only I had eaten one more Boston cream pie." We only get one shot at this life thing. I for one am ready to start making the most of it.

Just rode a waterslide over the weekend, was too afraid last time we went that I would look like shamu coming down and the splash that would follow, but down 35 pounds and feeling great!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
