Sleeved Monday June 10 feeling Bored

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved on Monday and now I'm at home (since Wed). Usually when I'm at home and not working, my days are set based on what we are going to cook, parties with the neighbors etc... I woke up this morning and realized, wait a minute I can't do that anymore. That left me thinking on what in the heck I was going to do today and every open day going forward for that matter.

I thought about going to the casino, but that's going to get expensive fast... Any ideas on things to do to get past the first few weeks on this journey?

I'm a workaholic, so it's been tough to have time off this past week. Luckily, I've slept most of my days away in between social media and TV! It's been an amazing week of R&R for both physical and mental recovery. I'm ready to head back to work Monday! It's tough to let go and enjoy the world of "nothing," but I highly recommend it!

I did start learning a new hobby, problem is the temps are now in the high '90s or over 100... I can't stand to be in the garage messing around.

A good book sounds like a pretty good idea. I will give it a shot. Hopefully it will not put me to sleep, I'm tired of sleeping.

I followed the diet to the letter, but I plan on asking the doc if this much this fast is acceptable. I will post back on his response.

How about catch up on your favorite tv series or start a new one that you have not seen before. Read a book. Take a walk with the dog. I really enjoyed all the walking I did as a post op with my dog.

I was sleeved the same day :) I've been home resting too. Mainly catching up on tv shows...watching movies and being a bum LOL It's kind of nice, but can be boring. I've been sleeping a lot too. I find I can't keep my eyes open at times.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
