I am not sleeved yet....soon 6/26/13

I keep wondering about libido and sex !!

I can only imagine I will be wanting MORE of it and be able to achieve better flexibility during sex! ahaha! My hubby is going to be one happy camper! Or maybe even hide from me after a while! I know we cannot have sex right away but eventually I will be ready to do the wild thing! ahaha!

Lets talk about this ladies ! No time for shyness! lol

I had sex after 4 days so it all depends on how you're feeling. I always had a great sex life and am only 3 weeks out so can't really comment on that. I am pretty flexible for a big woman but can't wait til my fiance can pick me up while doing it...it will make shower sex more fun.. I am losing weight and he is bulking up.

Sex was always better at a lower weight, almost non existant now as I am just to embarrassed for my hubby to see or feel my body. I can't wait until I hit 200...he already said I get to be on top...ok...you said let's don't be shy :)

I have always had a pretty good sex life, always been confident and comfortable sexually even at my heaviest.

So I was surprised to find that sex went from good to great with my weight loss :-D

I'm so nervous! My ex was with me through the whole process of me getting sleeved and the recovery.

My new guy wasn't there ( oh how I wish he had been there instead) and he didn't meet me until a 60 lb loss. I haven't slept with him yet and I'm so nervous to!!

I had sex with my hubby the day I got home from Mexico!!! Than he went back to work for a month and when he came home I was 30 lbs lighter and feeling a lot more confident in myself and YEAH!!! It was the best it's been in years!! Not that its been bad, but it went from good to great!! I can't wait for him to come home again!! With every pound I lose a little bit more confidence comes back, and I too can't wait till he can pick me up and try new positions!!!

Sex is freaking amazing now!!! My boyfriend and I have always had a very healthy sex life but since the surgery I have been out of control with my libido.

Not to mention oh my god the positions, the multiple orgasms and the hours..yes I said hours of sex. And the lingerie!!!

I said this on another page but I will say it again. Before the sleeve I had low self esteem and a guy I was with treated me like crap, so I believed I wasn't sexually appealing to guys. Well it has been almost 7 months and I am down 105lbs. I have been seeing a guy and wow. I never had sex like this. I wasn't afraid to be naked in front of him (even though I am a bit wobbley) he really loves my body, multiple positions and orgasms, and it goes on for hours. So yes sex after being sleeved has been amazing for me so far. I am no longer shy about my body

I was wondering about this as well. My hubby and I have a healthy sex life, but I physically can't do a lot of things that I would like to. I'm really hoping as the weight comes off it will be easier to do different positions and not get tired so quick!

Thanks ladies for posting this. It's making me even more excited to get sleeved and start that part of my life.

Sheena :-)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
