  11. I'm not sure. I'm 3 months out, 50 lbs down, pretty ok with my weight...but UBER self conscious about my sad boobs. They seem to have given up on life and now resemble some gelatinous sack of distressed skin. I was more sexually adventurous b4 I lost the weight. Now I'm afraid these huge flapjacks will give someone a concussion, so I'm abstaining. Til I get a reduction lol. Sent from my iPhone using VST

  18. I feel them. For the first time, in....idk, EVER. But I'm conflicted. I'm not sure if I like them all. The jaw bone, collar bone, wrist and ankles are much appreciated. But this pelvis I've never felt seems absolutely obnoxious. Along with these hip bones...that seem to get sharper as the weeks go by....I'm grateful that walking seems so graceful and effortless...but I am definitely afraid that these bones are now unprotected and extremely vulnerable. And....Sometimes I miss my fat, and my stomach, and various Fativities like eating in bed, buffets, and food comas. Idk. All of this is just so strange! Lol. I guess I'll adjust. Sleeved: 6/14/13 Starting weight: 273 Current weight: 226

  20. I cheated pre-op and still cheat 8 weeks out. Only on occasion though. Pre-op I started the liquid diet the week before, my dr said two. I randomly had salads in that week. (Mostly iceberg since its basically water). And did pure liquids 2 days before. I lost 5 lbs. Post-op....I ate sushi, and a piece of fried chicken 2 weeks out. I paid dearly. Worst reflux I've experienced in life. This was a valuable lesson. I've cheated since but only in the occasional bite of cake (it was my birthday) or a mini peppermint pattie to satisfy a craving. But I don't drink, I eat 90% Protein and TRY to satisfy my Fluid req. daily. I'm down 35 since 6/14. I say all this to say, it's not the end of the world. Just get back on the wagon and try again. food is an addiction, relapses will happen. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  21. This has been a topic of convo with me and a few of my sleeved girlfriends...however, has anyone noticed that their "insides" shrunk too??...in the spirit of tmi and all. We've got some pretty "heavy hitters" for s/o's that now feel like they're hitting TOO MUCH. Anybody else experienced this? Sent from my iPhone using VST

  24. Congrats!! I recently had the same victory. Sleeved 6/14 35 lbs down since surgery...My girlfriend gave me a pair of 16's I figured I'd try them on...for sh!ts n giggles. I almost cried, I was probably 18, when I last wore a 16. Wonderful milestone! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  25. Heaviest weight: 287 Current weight: 248 Amount lost before surgery: 10lbs Amount lost at 1 Month post op: 28lbs Sleeved 6/14.... And apparently in the midst of a 1 week (so far) stall. I even gained a lb and almost died. Lol. I've since increased my Fluid and Protein (thanks to Sytranx Nectar) and hope that it will trigger some substantial loss. I wasn't getting anywhere near my protein requirement, as I could barely stand Designer, Isoplus, and
  26. Sleeved 6/13 down 14 lbs since then. 22 total since fast. It's all come from my chin and belly. Lol Sent from my iPhone using VST
  27. This is also my struggle! Either I stay up all night or fall asleep early and am up 3 hours later. It's extremely frustrating. Pre-sleeve I would have been eating until I felt full and sleepy again. I'm happy to have broken that horrible habit, but some rest would be a nice substitute. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  28. If I'm awake...I'm hungry. I'm 13 days out, I crave the weirdest things. Cheese mostly. I've grown tired of sugary "foods"...I want salty, and I want substance. It took a while to figure out all these new gut gurgles, but I'm pretty sure I've got it. I'm just anxious to get out of this phase, my patience has grown thin over this 7 month journey, but the results are well worth it!
  29. Some only need to know, diet and exercise. That's the truth. So what you had a little help. I only tell those that u believe may benefit from knowing, will not pass judgement, or that are just generally trustworthy individuals. Anybody else...mind your business. Lol
  30. June 13th...I'm almost 2 weeks post op. and it's a struggle. I'm up at 2am...because I'm HUNGRY! Lol. But it's been worth it. 22lbs down in the last 3 weeks.
  31. Not in the area per se...but I'm in De, so I'm kinda close!
  32. June 13th for me. 12# down since my surgery. 22 w/ pre-op fast.
  33. I JUST had this experience tonight, I'm 1.5 weeks PO and went out to dinner with my cousin. The smell of the biscuits made my mouth water...as an avid carb monster...this hurt my feelings. I ate a fraction of my fish, a few bites of my mashed potatoes and was STUFFED. She took half my food home, and said "maybe I'll learn to eat healthier if I hang out with you" I felt a little better...but was slightly annoyed because she walked away with half my meal. Eating out is a lot easier with other sleevers...and a lot easier on the wallet! Lol.
