Annoyed...gained three pounds

Recommended Posts

Frustrated that I gained three pounds this week. I workout (cardio) 6 days a week and have anywhere from 600-800 calories a day. At two month mark. Anybody got any ideas how to speed up weight loss. Starting weight was 294. Down to 244. Up three lbs from monday!

You lost 50lbs in two months? That's awesome!!! For me, once I was past that initial 1 month big loss my average loss was 1 to 2 lbs a week.

My doc said at minimum I should be getting 800 cals, closer to 1200 when exercising. I'm only 5 weeks. Might help to bump up the healthy calories to keep up with your impressive work out regime. Good luck to you.

I gained 3 pounds too but I'm only 2.5 weeks out. I have also been working out more and thought maybe you hold onto Water while you gaining muscle... Just a theory. Stay off the scale. You will lose in the long run.

I did the same even though my NUT didn't recommend it LOL I was at the 9 week mark (10 week with preop) and I kept bouncing between these 2 pounds. It's finally coming off and I've lost those 2 and another 2. It took two weeks though. The stall happened as soon as I bumped up my cardio and started jogging.

I'm at the 6th month mark, and about two weeks ago had my first gain of about three pounds as well and then a long stall. Honestly, it has passed now and I feel like it was just bloating. I mentioned on myfitnesspal it felt like a bad case of PMS that lasted nearly a month. Just keep going.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
